Two Pedestrians Killed in Separate Accidents on the Same Night in San Jose

San Jose, CA (5/29/2020) – Police are investigating the deaths of two pedestrians who were killed late Thursday night in separate accidents. The first incident occurred around midnight at Bernal Road and Realm Drive in south San Jose.
According to Officer Gina Tepoorten, 37-year-old Julio Perez was trying to cross the street and was struck by both a Honda Accord and a Nissan Frontier. Emergency responders rushed Perez to the hospital, who later died from his injuries.
The second incident happened at Snell Avenue and Branham Lane. San Jose Police have not released any additional information about the victim in the second accident.
